Terms of Service
Draft placeholder, pending legal review. This page is not yet a binding agreement. It describes how the license portal works today; the final terms will replace it before live payments.
1. What you buy
A subscription to a license for the self-hosted JoobQUI console: a license, which each server fetches when an organization admin connects it with Sign in with JoobQ, for the number of seats, deployments and features of your plan (Starter, Team or Enterprise). You run the console, your workers and your Redis in your own infrastructure. JoobQ, the open-source queue, stays MIT licensed and needs no license.
2. Billing and taxes
Starter and Team are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, our payment processor. Applicable taxes are calculated and added at checkout. Enterprise is sold under terms agreed with you.
3. Renewal, failed payments and cancellation
A subscription renews each month until cancelled. You can cancel or change plans at any time from the billing portal; a cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month. If a renewal payment fails, your license stays active for a grace period of 7 days while Stripe retries the payment, and stops after it. A refunded or disputed payment ends the license at once.
4. Acceptable use
Use the license only for your own organization and within your plan's limits; do not share, resell or circumvent the license or its checks.
5. Warranty, liability and governing law
[To be written with counsel: warranty disclaimer, limitation of liability, governing law, changes to these terms.]
